Let me start by telling you the bitter truth about building wealth.
Building wealth is not for the faint-hearted. It demands:
-Sacrifice
-Patience
-Perseverance
When you decide to build wealth, that’s when expenses will raise their ugly heads.
That’s when you realize the money is not enough.
We all have excuses for why we can’t save.
We have excuses for how we can not invest or even give.
No good job. Not earning enough.
I am not cancelling out any of these.
Even the one on your mind right now. It’s valid.
But we can’t continue like this forever, we have to start from where we are.
Building wealth is a habit and habits are built over time.
It starts with intentionally looking beyond the current excuses and challenges you have.
It also starts with you bringing those high aims of yours down.
You don’t have to start making 6-7 figures to start.
With N500, you can start monthly.
With deciding to read books on finance, you can start.
It starts with taking a step to change your current status.
It takes AUDACITY to want more!
Probably you get into a lot of debt, the you need to tackle that issue by finding solutions to your debts.
We all have our unique excuse or challenge with building that rich life we’ve always wanted.
You have to look into it, write it down and fight to solve that issue.
If you keep waiting for the right time, you will never start.
When it comes to building a rich life a lot of people think it’s until you start making your millions or hundreds of thousands.
It starts with using what you have now to live as best as you can now while planning and building for the future (what next).
My job today is to push you to take that first step to saying, I will not always be stranded. I will no longer beg for that urgent money. I will no longer fall into bad debt. I will no longer spend all I earn. I will start reading financial books. I will join a financial club.
I will start saving and locking my money monthly come rain, come darkness, come T-pain Pro Max.
What is the one thing you can start right now to set your financial life in order?
Just one thing. Do one thing and fight to stick to it.
Let’s keep this brief.
Actionable Steps:
- Score your financial life right now
- Write down where you are failing (woefully)
- Write down a lasting solution (at least a first step)
- Start now (you can’t keep up like this)
