How to Keep Memories and Live Fully

Living Fully

Recalling everything that has happened in the year and the previous one, all I can say is – with suffering comes ease.

A lot has happened and I am sure it will still happen in the few days left in 2023.

It doesn’t have to be terrible things.

Good things will happen also.

In life, while we pray for the Good to happen, we should also pray for the strength to handle the worst.

Your righteousness doesn’t cut it or exempt you.

I have a habit of erasing memories and letting them go as fast as they come.

The truth is, I try to live in the moment as much as possible.

But, I lose those moments very fast.

I am talking about the bad memories and the good ones.

I feel moments should be embraced, recorded and relived as much as possible.

Moments form memories.

Memories make a fulfilled life.

That’s why I have developed a habit of journaling moments.

The brain can be tricky.

You feel you will remember. You won’t!

Use your notepad, Note, Phone, Camera, Pen, Picture, and Videos to keep a record of these moments.

You should have a drive in the cloud where you save them up.

You should treat them like a priceless asset.

Because they are.

Have you ever asked yourself why time was invented?

Was it to sell clocks?

Was it to help you in any way?

Was it to keep you anxious?

Or probably to make us a slave to it?

Imagine what life will be like for you without time.

You can derive your meaning from your imagination.

Some say it was because the company wanted to sell clocks.

Others believe it was to give more meaning to life’s activity.

Next year, remember to soak up all the memories.

Use the time you have to your advantage.

You won’t have another 2024.

Memories are what count at the end of life. They are priceless.

Pick up the habit of journaling.

Remember time is an illusion of the mind. We don’t have time. It doesn’t exist.

All we have is now. Treasure now. Create memories and keep a record of them.

If you had one for the year 2023 like me, you will be reading it.

Reading and reliving all the memories and lessons from January till December.

Smiling, reminiscing, seeing your mistakes and what you did well.

It’s not too late.

You can start today.

Purpose Driven Life

If you’ve read the 2 letters I wrote above, you will understand that purpose is a sense of meaning. We are beings of meaning. We are all constantly seeking meaning.

The only difference is that some are seeking the meaning that has already been defined. While some are creating new maps for the next generation.
